Add a split expense

Share an expense across multiple members fairly.

Any home expense can be split — equally, by percentage, by share count, or by exact amounts.

Steps

  1. When logging the expense, click Split.
  2. Pick members and a split mode (equal, percent, shares, exact).
  3. Confirm — the totals must match the expense amount.
💡 Equal splits are the default and cover 80% of cases.
